Our expertly guided tours take you deep into lush rainforests teeming with exotic wildlife, from scarlet macaws and tapirs to monkeys, anteaters, and even elusive jaguars.
Join us and discover the natural beauty of Costa Rica’s wildest place.
Corcovado is often referred to as “the most biologically intense place on Earth.” With over 500 tree species, 140 mammals, 370 bird species, and countless reptiles, amphibians, and insects, it holds an unmatched level of biodiversity in a relatively small area.
This park is one of the few places in the Americas where visitors may spot all four species of monkeys, Baird’s tapir, scarlet macaws, sloths, and even the elusive jaguar. It's a living sanctuary for species that have disappeared from many other parts of the region.
Accessible only by boat or on foot, Corcovado offers a rare and raw experience for travelers. Its trails pass through untouched primary rainforest, rivers, and remote beaches—perfect for those seeking authentic contact with nature, far from mass tourism

Travesias Y CaminosApril 25, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Gracias a todo el equipo que lo hace tan bien antoine jeanApril 24, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Julio Castro PardoApril 14, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. He is an AMAZING guide with an encyclopedic knowledge of the national park. As a boy he grew up close to Corcovado and he knows how to look and where to look so that you don't miss anything. While you should keep your expectations low so as to not be disappointed, my wife and i were fortunate that Sandro was able to guide us to see multiple tapirs (5 i think to include a mama and baby but they ask looked alike to me), 3 of the 4 native monkey species (howler, spider, & capuchin), macaws, wild turkeys, vultures, a boa constrictor, leaf cutter ants, golden orb spiders, an agouti, several crocodiles, snook (fish), jesus christ lizards, and even a sloth 🦥! Sandro's greatest strength is that, because he grew up with the jungle, he could stop and tell us several facts about the different trees, plants, and animals and related that to how ancient cultures/ natives used them. He educated us and inspired us along the tour. He was super helpful in letting us use his telescope to take pictures with our cell phones. (We got some amazing photos!) Sandro was super knowledgeable, patient, kind, friendly and cared about us having the greatest day that we could have at the park. He was very in touch with nature and protecting all of her beauty... he truly had a sense and appreciation and love for Costa Rican nature. He told about the history of the park and the practical and medicinal uses of several plants (to include Ibuprofen and root beer from sasparilla). We had a tasty lunch and even got to cool off in the water after visiting the waterfall. The only reason I am giving Sandro 5 star rating is because the scale does not go higher! I promise you will have an incredible trek with Sandro as your guide! Pura Vida! Helen FletcherApril 5, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We just had 2 great days diving with Drake Divers. My son did his PADI open water and I did 4 dives. Zobe and Angello were both brilliant guides and Eric and Sergio (I think!) were fantastic teachers for my son. The visibility was mixed, but we saw loads - turtles, white tips, numerous morays and fabulous shoals of fish. The dive masters kept an eye on everyone with regular checks for air. The boat captain and the whole crew were helpful - the captain even pointed out and stopped for 2 humpbacks, which was magical. Thanks so much to all of you for answering my many questions when I booked, picking us up from our hotel and for giving my son the most fantastic first experience of diving!! Buen trabajo chicos! Gracias. Christina HuberMarch 22, 2025Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. To enter the park, you must have a reservation in advance. Access is limited and only allowed with a licensed guide. Drake Divers takes care of all the logistics, including entrance permits, transportation, and guide services, so you can simply enjoy the experience.
Our tours depart from Drake Bay, usually early in the morning. We travel by speedboat to either San Pedrillo Station or Sirena Station, depending on the selected tour route.
While hiking through the rainforest, you’re likely to encounter monkeys, sloths, tapirs, scarlet macaws, toucans, and with some luck, jaguars or snakes. You’ll also explore primary rainforest, rivers, and incredible natural scenery.
San Pedrillo offers shorter trails and is great for those seeking a more accessible hike, including waterfalls and coastal views.
Sirena Station is more remote and richer in biodiversity, making it ideal for wildlife lovers—but it requires more time and moderate physical effort.
We recommend wearing light, breathable clothing, closed-toe hiking shoes, and bringing insect repellent, sunscreen, a reusable water bottle, and a camera or binoculars for wildlife observation. All our tours include lunch, certified guide, park entrance fees, and boat transportation.
You can book a tour directly through our website by selecting your desired activity and completing the booking form. If you have any questions, feel free to contact us, and our team will assist you in securing your adventure.
